Helping working professionals speak clearly, sound confident, and be understood in every meeting, call, and presentation
Do you ever feel like your ideas don't land the way they should — not because of what you're saying, but because of how it's coming across?
You might be fluent, experienced, and good at your job, but still find yourself repeating things on calls, watching people miss a key word, or sounding less confident than you actually are. In a professional setting, being understood clearly the first time isn't a small thing — it affects how your ideas are received, how you're perceived, and how confident you feel speaking up.
I help working professionals fine-tune their pronunciation, word stress, rhythm, and intonation so they come across as clearly and confidently as they deserve to — in meetings, on calls, in presentations, and in everyday conversation with colleagues and clients.
Why work with me?
I've spent years coaching business professionals — including managers, engineers, salespeople, consultants, and executives — who are already fluent but want to be understood more easily and taken more seriously at work. Many come to me speaking English every day on the job, but frustrated that they still have to repeat themselves, or that their delivery doesn't match their expertise. I focus on the specific features that make the biggest difference to how clearly and confidently you come across.
Lessons are fully in English, built around the situations you actually face at work.
Common workplace communication challenges I help with:
Being understood on video and phone calls Audio compression on Zoom, Teams, and phone lines strips away exactly the sounds that were already hardest to catch. We work on the clarity that survives a bad connection, so you're not repeating yourself on every call.
Sentences that trail off Many professionals start strong but let the ends of sentences drop — and that's often where the key word lives. Learning to carry energy through to the end of a phrase makes sure the important information actually lands.
Sounding confident instead of tentative Rising intonation on statements can make you sound unsure or like you're asking permission, even when you're stating a fact. We work on the falling, settled intonation that makes you sound decisive and in command of the material.
Word stress on key terms When the stress lands on the wrong syllable of an important word — a product name, a technical term, a client's name — listeners stumble right at the moment that matters most. Fixing stress makes your most important words the clearest ones.
Names, numbers, and details on the phone Misheard numbers, dates, and names cause real problems at work. We drill the sounds that get confused so that critical details come across right the first time.
Presenting and speaking up in meetings Speaking to a group, or jumping into a fast-moving discussion, puts pressure on pronunciation. We practice the clarity and pacing that keep you understood even when the stakes and the speed are high.
Sounding natural, not just correct Flat or overly formal delivery can make you sound stiff or distant with colleagues. Learning the natural rhythm of American English helps you connect, not just inform.
What my students say
"I've been taking lessons with Jesse for more than eight months, and I can see my progress. My speech has become more fluent, articulated, and comprehensible. Many of my colleagues have complimented me, which is a big achievement for me. I work with Jesse primarily on pronunciation. It was challenging to find a tutor with this specialization who is capable of explaining and training you to sound like an American."
— Veronica
"Jesse is a great teacher who quickly identified the key areas I needed to work on. After three months of lessons I've noticed a real difference, my work colleagues understand me better, and I feel more confident. Each session is practical and engaging. I highly recommend Jesse."
— Florian
"I've been taking classes with Jesse for several months and I do see the progress! I had a weird mix of British, American, and Russian accents; now I sound more American and feel more comfortable communicating with my US teammates."
— Anastasia

About Lessons
Whether you want to be understood more easily on calls, sound more confident presenting, or simply stop repeating yourself in meetings, I offer a structured, personalized training plan built around your work and your goals.
Accent lessons are designed to help you sound clearer and more confident in American English — not just by learning individual sounds, but by mastering the intonation, rhythm, and flow of how Americans actually speak in professional settings.
We'll work with detailed, illustrated guides to break down each part of the American accent. For each new sound or concept, I'll show you how to position your tongue and shape your mouth — with diagrams, examples, and audio recordings. You'll develop the awareness to hear and fix mistakes on your own, including in the moment during a real meeting or call.
Lessons are hands-on and practical. You'll:
Read out loud with live pronunciation coaching
Practice with material drawn from real workplace situations — calls, presentations, introductions
Receive targeted corrections and tips in real time
Work with customized texts, tongue twisters, and listening exercises
Get recordings and exercises to review between lessons
If grammar or vocabulary is also a priority, I offer discussion-based lessons that build advanced grammar and natural, professional word choice through real conversation. Most students take a mix of pronunciation, fluency, and clarity training — tailored to the demands of their role.
